Product detailed description
Product Information
The salmon comes from an ecological and sustainable farmed source in the pristine Arctic Ocean around Iceland. The fish are fed only high-quality feed without growth hormones or other additives. The fillets are hand-processed, guaranteeing their high quality.
Preservation Method
When the correct technological process is followed, freezing is a gentle and safe method of food preservation. We use the IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) method, which flash-freezes fresh fish meat. This ensures that nutritional values, texture, and taste are completely preserved.

When the correct technological process is followed, freezing is a completely gentle and safe method of food preservation. During the processing, we do not add anything extra to the fish – no water or additives. The stated weight for individual portions is therefore the actual weight of the meat. If the fish fillets are thawed correctly, the taste and nutrient content are comparable to freshly caught fish.
We Freeze Differently
We freeze fish so that you have meat at home of a quality that is almost indistinguishable from the moment shortly after it was caught. Fishing takes place on small fishing boats that go out to sea in the morning and return in the evening, which is why our fish are portioned, packed, and frozen within 24 hours of being caught. This avoids the depletion of marine ecosystems and the wastage of so-called "unsuitable catches", as happens with freezing on large floating factories that are at sea for days or weeks.

No Added Water
We do not need to artificially increase the weight of products by adding water to the muscle tissue of frozen fish. You can recognise such fish at the first taste; once the water is released during thermal processing, you are left with tasteless meat.
The only acceptable form of water content in frozen foods is a protective glaze. This is applied to the surface of fish or seafood (typically, e.g., shrimp) and thus protects the fish from freezer burn. This protective layer ranges between 5-20% and must always be stated in the product's ingredients! Therefore, if the fish is not vacuum-packed, water in the form of a protective glaze is even desirable for maintaining quality.
Sustainable Farming of Arctic Salmon
We care about the sustainability of the entire fishing process – no nets, no growth hormones, and no devastation of marine life. This is reflected not only in the protection of our planet but also in the taste and quality of the fish.
In our offer, you will only find salmon from the coldest waters in Europe – from the vicinity of Iceland and the Arctic Waters. This area is characterised by strong ocean currents, meaning the water here is among the cleanest and also very well simulates the natural environment of salmon. The fish density is low, which means less stress and more swimming for them. Thanks to increased movement, the fish also have much firmer and tastier meat.
