A lightly sparkling wine produced from lively young wines with a higher content of CO2, supporting its crispness and stability. It is produced using the varieties Pinot Noir, Zweigeltrebe, Frankovka (blaufränkisch), and the new varieties Ariana and Agni. It works beneficially as an aid to digestion. Its favourable effect on the human organism is secured by its raised level of enzymes, organic acids, and a group of compounds called polyphenals.
Michlovsky Winery cultivates around 125 hectares of its own vineyards in the Greater Pavlovice and Mikulov regions of South Moravia. The company was founded by Miloš Michlovský Msc., D.Sc. in 1993 and initially focused on the production of sparkling wines. In time it shifted focus to "quality wine with special attributes" (jakostní víno s přivlastkem) ie. the highest category of wines produced in specified regions under the Czech wine law.
