It is a zesty aroma of an almost-floral spiciness which first bursts forth - the characteristic expression of this variety. In the medium-long flavour one can find fruit, particularly gooseberry and green apple. The overall harmony is underscored in the pleasant acidity of the finish.
Přítluky Winery is a small family winery located in the picturesque district of Přítluky near to Rakvice a Zaječí in South Moravia. The winery has a preference for time-proven local varieties and drews its inspiration from the magic of the local groves and meadows. The philosophy of the winery is to cleave to the wine-making tradition of the district and to lay the foundations for the restoration of the almost forgotten tradition and the renown of Přítluky wine.
The winery tends to 5 hectares of its own vineyards. The district of Přítluky is one of the largest of the Greater Pavlovice winemaking region. It is situated beside the Dyje river among the neighbouring districts of Hustopeče, Zaječí a Rakvice. This exceptional terroir stretches between the hills of Pavlovice and the UNESCO-registered World Heritage Site Lednice–Valtice Cultural Landscape.
