The story of this Mediterranean legend began in 1890 when Francesco Divella built the first flour mill in the Apulia / Puglia region. The resulting pasta was so popular with locals, neighbours and friends that within a few years the factory had to be expanded and the whole of Italy was treated to its exceptional produce. After the Second World War, Divella pasta became a symbol of quality and taste. It became a favourite throughout Europe and soon the world.

In addition to the famous pasta, Divella also has steamed legumes on its top product list. The ingredients for the preparation meet the highest standards. They must be tasty, well processed, balanced in terms of energy and of excellent quality.
