The story of this Mediterranean legend began in 1890 when Francesco Divella built the first flour mill in the Apulia / Puglia region. The resulting pasta was so popular with locals, neighbours and friends that within a few years the factory had to be expanded and the whole of Italy was treated to its exceptional produce. After the Second World War, Divella pasta became a symbol of quality and taste. It became a favourite throughout Europe and soon the world.
