Fresh and elegant sparkling wine Cava from the oldest Spanish producer, Codorníu. This cuvée is made from three local varieties, with the Viura giving acidity, the Xarel·lo structure, and the Parellada finesse. This Cava is full of citrus and flowers that mature with age into notes of honey and toast. Recommended to serve as an aperitif, with appetizers, or to accompany light fish dishes.
A famed and historically significant winery; one of the owners, Josep Raventós, is held to be the first producer of quality Spanish sparkling wine, dating to 1551. The company has invested heavily in research into viniculture and vineyard management. Codorníu is also one of the largest producers of Cava, renowned for its high quality and consistency across its entire portfolio.
