A unique medium-dry wine with 12g of residual sugar, which is less than is typical. A bright salmon colour. The nose is elegant with the aroma of tropical fruit, wild flowers and rose petals. A full and harmonious flavour characteristic of the variety with a pleasant acidity and tones of lychee, papaya, and other tropical fruit in supporting roles.
Wines from the Bougrier family winery may be characterised by 3 F's: Fresh, Fruit, Friendly (in the sense of being accessible). Bougrier is one of the last significant wineries on the Loire Valley to remain in family hands.
