A wine with a deep yellow colour with glints of golden. The scent opens with the soft tones of lime blossom and Acacia honey. After a moment the soft tones of dried apricot and raspberry break through. In terms of flavour, the wine then surprises with its richness and restrained acidity. Notes of dried apricots and kiwi bring to a conclusion a splendid dry minerality.
This small winery, specialising in the production of high quality wines, was established in 2014. Mojmír Baroň and Zdeněk Pavlů produce their wines in a 200-year-old cellar with the exclusive use of grapes originating in the Lednice district. Their aim is to use the region's natural potential to its maximum, reflect the unique terroir of Lednice, and minimise the number or interventions during production. Their annual production stands at around 25,000 bottles and is divided into small batches of around 1,000 bottles.
A clearly defined range of products, a sensible spectrum of types of wine, and most of all quality and style, ensure that Domaine Eisgrub of Lednice has all of the requisites for the best that Moravia can produce.
