About origin

The second breed of farmed fish on offer in our e-shop is Arctic char. This is our most popular Icelandic fish. It comes from Matorka fishery which is unique in utilising a mix of geothermal and sea waters for its breeding of char. Fish at Matorka have ample living space and very natural conditions for their development.
